Upward-acting jar for freeing a stuck sieve tube or packer
Description
An upward-acting jar connected above the packer. When the lower section, such as the sieve tube or packer, becomes stuck, the string is picked up and pulled; the jar delivers an upward impact to free the string.

Operation
Before running in, adjust the time delay as required. To jar, pick up and pull the string; after the time delay the jar delivers an upward impact. For repeated impacts, lift and lower the string again.
