Ball-Throw Internal Pressure Operated Test Tools

This is a series of internal pressure-operated test tools actuated by dropping a ball from the wellhead onto a ball seat, including the normally open valve, normally closed valve, packer and other auxiliary tools. It is mainly used for acid fracturing + testing operations and works together with tubing, gas lift, hydraulic power pumps and similar equipment.

Normally Open Valve

Circulating valve closed by dropping a ball — used for fluid replacement in acidizing

Tool sizes: 3⅛, 3⅞, 5 in Working pressure: 15,000, 10,000 psi

Safety Fluids Replacement Valve

Ball-operated safety circulating valve for fluid replacement above a shut-in ball valve

Tool sizes: 3⅞, 5 in Working pressure: 10,000, 15,000 psi

Normally Closed Valve

Circulating valve opened by dropping a ball — used for circulation after testing

Tool sizes: 3⅛, 3⅞, 5 in Working pressure: 10,000, 15,000 psi

Dual Passage Normally Closed Valve

Full-opening kill circulating valve with two circulation passages

Tool sizes: 3⅛, 3⅞, 5 in Working pressure: 10,000, 15,000 psi

Shut-off Circulating Valve

One-shot valve that seals the lower zone and opens circulation to the upper zone

Tool sizes: 3⅞, 5 in Working pressure: 10,000, 15,000 psi

Ball Receive Sub

Catches the dropped steel ball without restricting flow

Tool sizes: 2⅞, 3½ in

Releasing Device

Ball-operated release for perforating guns in completion strings

Tool sizes: 2⅞, 3½ in
