Description

A full-opening, annulus pressure-operated, single-shot safety circulating valve used in cased-hole operations. The tool is primarily used at the end of a well test to circulate and to recover the sample trapped between ball valves.

Features

  • As a safety valve, the tool can be operated at any time during the test to close off the work string and isolate the formation
  • With the four circulating ports plugged, the valve can be used as a single-shot shut-off valve
  • Converts to an AP circulating valve by replacing the ball valve section with a lower adapter
