SSD Hydraulic Circulating Valve

Description

A full-opening circulating tool that can be run above or below the tester valve. When run below, it serves as a bypass around the packer and helps relieve swabbing when the string is run in and pulled out. When run above the tester valve, it serves as a circulating valve to circulate out the formation fluid left in the string after testing.

Features

• Requires no torque for operation
• Setting string weight on the valve closes the bypass ports; picking up the string weight opens them
• The delay section starts acting after weight is set on the valve and closes the bypass ports slowly, allowing the packer to be set before the ports close
